Mira’s First Year
So little Mira (pronounced Mee-rah, not My-rah) turned 1-year old this week. We went out together to the park in Shaler to get a few fun photos at the playground. The whole gang was there, with mommy, daddy, and Mica– and the kids definitely made me work for some shots as I chased them around the park, crawling low to the ground with the camera– but mostly the camera was on Mira to celebrate her special milestone in her young life.
Mira is completely adorable, and it was actually pretty easy to get her to laugh and smile (as you will see in some of the shots below).
How can you not love that big cheeser? She is so incredibly adorable.
… and a princess of course! She looks so dainty and regal in this picture, like a little queen looking over her court.
This chair was so giant! I couldn’t resist taking a few photos of this tiny little person in such a big chair.
There’s another one of those smiles!
Mommy looks like a rock star. I definitely dig the glasses!
Big brother at the wheel! You better take care of your little sister there mister! Drive safely! The best part about Mira and Mica is that they love each other so much. She was in complete awe watching her big brother “driving” her for a little while.
And it was hard not to get distracted and take a few shots of him play.
Okay. I will admit. She wasn’t a big fan of this spiral thingy, and it took some perseverance to finally grab a picture of her not crying or trying to eat wood chips off the ground.
The whole family together!
This one is was so fun!
Mica looks so determined to climb up this hill!
Finally, after waiting patiently as I took about 500 pictures, Grandma gets a few shots with the kids! She looks so beautiful in this next one!
