We do photography the right way.

Bales of Hay, Bicycles and a Banjo

Lauren & Greg were fantastic! They found us after we did baby photos of their little nephew. After Lauren emailed me with the story of how she met Greg, I knew I wanted to do this shoot.

More down below…

We did their shoot at Mingo Creek Park, which is where they originally met. It was such a hot stinking day, that I did everything I could to keep ourselves to the shade. By the end of our shoot, I was a hot sweaty mess.

I love bales of hay for some reason. I find them so romantic and playful. It took some effort to get them up there, but they were such a sport!

Greg brought along his racing bicycle for the shoot.

The two of them met when Lauren came out to this park to watch a bicycle race. Before the race got started, Greg got a flat tire and had to stay behind. So the two of them sat around while the race went on… Probably the best flat tire Greg could have ever had.

This duck really wanted to be in the photos. Either that, or it was modeling in hope for some food.

So here’s the tire that started it all. I think it’s pretty cool that Greg kept it! You guys should frame it up on a wall when you get married (along with our pictures!)

Going along with our bicycle theme, I asked around if anyone had some nice retro bikes to incorporate into the shoot. My brother in law came through! His dad collects old bikes and let us borrow a pair. These bikes were perfect! Thanks again!

One was a Firestone 500 and the other was very similar in style (in case you’re into old bikes).

Greg is also a photographer. Look at him working the camera in this one!

Greg also brought along a Banjo! Loved it!

Here’s your cover shot! šŸ™‚

You two were awesome! We hope you guys have a wonderful wedding! We really enjoyed making these photos for you two. Even though we won’t be able to photograph the big day, call us when you get litte ones of your own!!
