Courtnae & Jeff Get Married!
Courtnae & Jeff were just simply a fantastic and fun couple! They got married at the historic Epiphany Catholic Church downtown and had a really fun reception at the Marriott City Center. We had such a great time shooting this couple. They were so laxed and outgoing that it made the whole day so easy! Plus they were surrounded by great family and friends, who were all equally easy going.
Let’s get this photo blog started!
This little guy loved the camera. Doesn’t look like it from this face, but he always made sure he snuck in on the lens. Hey, we’re fine with that!
Killer shoes. I probably took more shots of this pair of heels than I’ve ever taken at any other wedding. The girls poked fun of me for it. No, I don’t have a shoe fetish. I just appreciate things that photograph well 🙂
I have a weakness for short veils. They make brides look so mysterious!
Yes! Jump on that bed!
There’s nothing better than a bride who smiles like that!
You look so classy, Courtnae! As though you were plucked right out of the 1920’s and brought into our presence!
You can’t fake this kind of happiness. Courtnae was really all smiles. Such a joy to photograph couples who seem so happy on such a big day!
The Consol Energy Center makes for such a killer backdrop at night! We haven’t done any night shooting at weddings before, but I loved the challenge and opportunity!
“Cake, we have you surrounded! Your attempt at escape is futile.” I love their contemplative looks as they surround the cake!
The last moment Jeff will have “the upper hand” (as quoted from one of the maid of honors).
This is the first time we’ve done a photo booth at a wedding, and it was pretty cool. Mainly because Courtnae & Jeff put a lot of time, thought and effort in putting this wall together and brought along some quirky, fun props!
As you can see, however, the frames didn’t stay on that wall very long! haha
We love you guys! It was such an honor to have your wedding be our last of 2011! It leaves us on such a high note! We had a fantastic time and hope you love all of the images we captured for you!
